Senior Citizen Hall and a Water Loss in Somerset
The leak in the attic resulted in the sheetrock ceiling panels becoming saturated. To protect the senior citizens who frequented this facility in Somerset, SERVPRO arrived promptly after receiving a call to secure the water damaged area. Our team moved some furniture from the dining area out of the way to prevent water damage and then created several containment barriers out of 6-mil poly sheeting. This served the dual purpose of limiting circulating debris during the controlled demolition of the ceiling, and to expedite the drying of the exposed surfaces. Our well-trained ASD applied structural drying techs quickly contained the damage to the immediate area by strategically placing the air movers and dehumidifiers.
